We had a weekend full of family time :) Saturday night my parents stole the girls and took them to see The
Lorax! They both loved it! Nana and Papa think they have shared "custody" of the girls on the weekends ;) It's nice for Johnny and I to get to spend some time together! Saturday night we went to dinner, then Sunday morning I talked Johnny into doing some shopping for ourselves! We both needed Spring/Summer clothes so bad and since I got a really good bonus at work decided we were doing it!! We had a great day shopping and lunch after. We met my parents at my sisters house to pick the girls up and Lindon was crashed....
She's so cute...especially when she's sleeping ;)! Reese has been beyond excited about her new baby cousin
Kaydence! When we got to the house she was so proud to be holding her!! Reese is such a big helper, I love it! And have I mentioned how Adorable that little baby is?! SO cute!! I could cuddle her all day!
Saturday I went to Park City shopping, Johnny kept the girls at home.Johnny's dad was up visiting from Seattle with his wife so the whole family including his brother and sister came over to the house and brought their girls to play. We haven't been very close, so it was especially nice for Reese and Lindon to get to know and play with their cousins! (Reese dressed herself AND did her own hair ;)) Reese and Lindon love Papa Dennis and grama "coley", wish I would have got a picture of them.
We are getting SO excited for Summer time!! We are going to go to Island Park and stay in a cabin with a couple of our friends and their families in August for a nice long weekend! We were able to get together and plan everything this past weekend, and we are pretty excited! The kids are going to love Yellowstone and all of the animals!
Our next Highlight will come in September when we take off and head here....
DISNEYLAND :) Reese and I are both so dang excited!! We are going to stay in San Diego for a few nights and go to Sea World and the Zoo and then head to
Anaheim for a few more days of Disneyland fun! I'm so glad I talked Johnny into going this year, he's getting excited too! All booked and ready to go! I'm trying to talk my parents into coming with us...we will see if they cave!
The weather is warming up, so excited to get out and start on our list of yard work that needs to be done, and let the kids play outside, and go for mountain bike rides with Johnny, and hit the pool......and the list goes on! Cheers to warm Spring time weather!
We, like everyone else, have been enjoying the beautiful Spring weather this past little while!! I hate the time change but I do love the extra hour of light we get at night so we can play for a little while when we get home. The girls love being outside :)
Saturday was Reese's picture day, perfect day for it! Then we went over to papa John's and grammy Linda's to visit for a little while. They have a couple big pine trees around and Lots of pine cones on the ground, Reese and Lindon decided it was fun to gather them up. Grammy got them each a sack and they went to work :)

We FINALLY got rid of the cold/virus junk at our house and were healthy for almost a week....Linny is sick again :( SO tired of cold season!! She had a fever of 102 for a couple days on and off and congestion, I think she is now starting to feel better....hopefully!! I hope we are done now for this season, we've had our fair share! When she was the worst she wouldn't let me hold her she just wanted to lay on the couch by her sissy, she didn't last long and she was out. Every time I see them together I am so happy and grateful they have each other! Nothing could replace the bond of sisters!!
I tried to sneak up on the little cuties playing one morning but the second Lindon See's the camera she says "Cheeeese"...
Reese is loving gymnastics and doing so good! I am so excited to have her start the "big girl class" in June! She wanted me to take a picture on our way out the door last night.... these are her "ta da" arms ;)
Saturday morning I had a meeting at work for a couple hours, Johnny said the girls were so good they both helped pick up the house and all of their toys and shared and got along so well. He was so happy with them he told them that we could go and pick out some kind of toy or game that everyone could enjoy...well Sunday we went to the Home and Garden show, the first display you walk into is the Swing sets and outdoor toys. The girls both went straight for the airplane teeter totter! They were so sad when we made them get off and walk around the show, before leaving we let them play again for a little while. I look over and see Johnny at the check out counter purchasing the girls a new "toy"!! And he says that I spoil the girls ;) We got it put together, besides the steering wheel and prop, and they love it! Hoping the weather holds out good so we can make room and move it out with the play house this weekend!!!
PS. please excuse the messy garage....we have our spring cleaning cut out for us this weekend ;)!!
